Goodbye, Dino
Dino's Journey
On June 25, 2024, our 5.5 year old dog Dino was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a bone cancer, in his rear right knee. No spread of the cancer was found on a CT scan, so on July 3, 2024 Dino underwent amputation of the affected leg. Following this surgery, he will have 13 weeks of chemotherapy. I am documenting Dino's recovery in this blog so Dino's friends, family, and fans can see how he is doing. This is also a way for us to process, heal, and help Dino live his best life.
