Dr. Megan E. Tannock

Hello!

My name is Megan Tannock and I am a developer/programmer at Cosmographic Software, working on the game Space Engine. I completed my PhD at the University of Western Ontario in December 2021. My doctoral thesis is focused on understanding the atmospheres of sub-stellar objects known as brown dwarfs.

I have experience in a wide range of astronomy and physics research and software development. I specialize in observational infrared astronomy.

Teaching

I am very passionate about teaching and learning. I am proud to be an educator and mentor to the next generation of scientists.
